No Joker for Jack

Post Lydden Report by Jack Brown #38

The second round of the British Rallycross championship saw Jack Brown Racing at Lydden Hill, Kent over the Easter weekend. After a fantastic three heats finishing 8th, 5th and 2nd (out of a possible 16) saw Jack qualify in fourth position for the A final.

The final would see Jack move up the positions from 4th to 2nd and maintain this place. Unfortunately due to confusion over the number of laps and Jack not seeing the last lap board he didn’t take the joker and as a consequence was given a 30 second penalty seeing him fall from 2nd to 7th place.

The next round sees Jack head to Pembrey in May where hopefully he can repeat his performance in the heats and secure a strong final performance.

Jack Brown #38:

'Lydden was my best performance by far and I was gutted to lose five places due to confusion as to when was the last lap, I was still able to take positives from the round and will take these to Pembrey'.
