Win for Durdin in Wales

In the MSA Junior Swift category, the racing was hugely close and competitive. Sam Jones made his debut in the class driving his JAM Motorsport Swift and won his first ever race after a ding-dong battle with former kart racer Bradley Durdin and former Junior Rallycross Grand Prix winner, Drew Bellerby. The ever-improving Hawkes Fire Swift driver, Jennie Hawkes finished fourth. Drudin won the second heat ahead of Jones, while Bellerby won heat three from Durdin.

Jones lined up on pole position for the final, but it was Durdin piloting the Peter Gwynne Motorsport Swift who led from theto take the upper hand to win the final while Jones and Bellerby battled over second place. Hawkes finished fourth, again improving her lap times with every race thanks to the support of 2014 MSA Junior Swift Champion Charlie Bean, who was on hand again at Pembrey to offer Hawkes support. Fuchs Lubricants driver Bellerby now leads the championship by just one point from Durdin as the championship heads to Mondello Park in Ireland for a double-header event next month.
