FLYING START FOR FLITNEY AT SILVERSTONE!
The Swift Sport Rallycross Championship got underway at Silverstone in fine style as Max Weatherley and Chris Scott entertained the crowds from the off, with a race-long battle that was narrowly edged by Weatherley. Reigning MSA Junior Rallycross Champion Tom Llewellin (Haverfordwest) finished his first year of senior competition by repeating his final-round victory from 2017. TOM CONSTANTINE CLAIMS VICTORY AT SILVERSTONE
It was a winner-takes-all scenario at the front of the MSA Junior Rallycross Championship entering the final round of the season, with brothers Luke and Tom Constantine (Richmond) separated by a single point.

There was much excitement as the fifteen Swift Sports headed out to the new Silverstone Rallycross Circuit for the opening round of the Swift Sport Rallycross Championship. Making their Swift debuts, former Ginetta driver Ryan Hadfield and WRX commentator Andrew Coley joined the mix along with returning regulars including the leading Swift Stars from 2017, Simon Ovenden, Rob Shield and Morgan Bailey. Win for Solberg Hansen in Silverstone Swift Debut!
In the MSA Junior Rallycross Championship’s first event of the season it was a pair of debutant drivers that finished first and second. Marius Solberg Hansen (Norway) was twice third fastest in the qualifying stages, before setting fastest time in Q3 to secure pole position for the final. As the lights went green for the final, Solberg Hansen took the lead, but second-place starter Tom Constantine (Richmond) was spun at turn two, in a move where Morgan Wroot (Doncaster) also


Hadfield Swaps Ginetta for Swift!
Ex Ginetta regular Ryan Hadfield will make the jump over to rallycross in the Swift Sport Championship for the 2018 Season. After a positive first test in the Peter Gwynne Motorsport Swift, Hadfield is hopeful he can make strong headway and progress throughout the season with the new challenge ahead of him. With the first round at the new Silverstone circuit on Saturday 17th March, Ryan is eagerly awaiting the season opener where he will get his first taste of the competition


WRX Commentator Coley Samples Swifts at Silverstone!
The voice of The FIA World Rallycross Championship, Andrew Coley, is set to contest the opening round to the Swift Sport Rallycross Championship on Saturday 17th March for the first ever Rallycross event to be held at Silverstone Circuit.
