We are pleased to welcome George Edenborough to the Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship for 2026. George joins the championship with some impressive results already behind him.

In 2025, he won every autocross event he entered in a Citroën Saxo, before taking victory at the first Junior CrossCar event held in the UK at Lydden Hill in November. He also claimed another win already in 2026 at the Rally Sprint. His first competitive event in his Swift, giving him strong momentum heading into the new season.

We caught up with George and here’s what he had to say: “We’ve always been involved in rallycross, as my dad ran Darren Scott’s rallycross car, and both my dad and grandad have followed the sport since the 80s.

I got involved in motorsport myself in 2025. My first rallycross experience came in the Junior CrossCar at Lydden Hill in November 2025, which was the first event for the cars in the UK, and I was really pleased to win that. I’m really looking forward to joining the Swift Juniors this year and seeing how the season goes. I’d also like to say a big thank you to my main sponsors, ShuttersUFit, Compass Fostering, and everyone else who is supporting me this season.”
